The Dodge Durango has held its own in the crowded SUV segment ever since it came onto the scene in 1998. The 2014 edition of this popular new Dodge model will soon arrive at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Santa Fe, redesigned and better than ever.
Those who have had the chance to test drive the new Durango are thoroughly impressed by all that it has to offer, from its powerful engines to "smart" safety features.
The 2014 Durango will arrive at our Santa Fe, NM showroom with two different engine options: a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 or a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. Each one is better for different tasks. For example, if you are hauling your kids to school and soccer practice every day, then the more efficient V6 is a good choice, but if you're hauling boats and other big toys, then the Hemi V8 is a better bet.
The Durango's exterior got a bit of a makeover, too, with a new grille and taillights that are sportier than in the past. If you upgrade to a higher trim level, then you can also get 20-inch black wheels, dual exhaust, and LED running lights.
Safety features on the new SUV have been upgraded to detect potential obstacles and prevent collisions as much as possible, and include blind-spot monitoring, collision warning, and rear-cross-path alert.
