The Detroit Auto Show is one of the most prestigious events in the entire automotive industry ever year, and this year, Chrysler stole the show when they unveiled the future (2015) version of their always-popular and value-providing 2014 Chrysler 200 sedan model, which will be undergoing a huge model overhaul in the 2015 model year. As the model is one of the most popular here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Santa Fe in Santa Fe, MN, we felt we should fill our customers in on all of the newly released details.

Ralph Gilles, senior VP of design, SRT CEO and lead designer of the 2005 300 believes this is a huge moment for the popular sedan model, telling Autoblog at a backgrounder event, "I've never felt such a significant challenge. This one is special in every way."

Starting on the exterior, the profile of the model will now be made to be more smooth, with more aerodynamic flow from front to rear instead of the sharp angles of the current iteration. The front end is adapted to include new L-shaped headlights, and the air intakes have been enlarged as well. There are new creases within the hood for an added element of flair as well. In the back, LED taillights complete the performance-inspired look all over.
