It may not feel like it quite yet, but we are a week into the fall season of 2014! With the changing of the seasons come new responsibilities with the maintenance of your car. One important aspect it's time to start monitoring more closely is tire pressure.

Most of us don't pay careful attention to this, and we wait for a signal or alert to annoy us until we bother with kicking our tires. In the fall, colder weather will lower tire pressure- it's an absolute.

Warmer weather tends to make tires over-inflate, so we're typically not prepared for this change in Santa Fe, but it's worth mentioning.

We recommend checking tire pressure monthly, especially during the morning hours when tires are typically cold. This is the time to make sure all tires are at the PSI indicated in your car's manual.
