What does country music star Easton Corbin have in common with the RAM Truck brand? Well, you might not know that Corbin is a former farm boy who actually took some time to study agriculture before following his passions for music. In order to highlight the importance of farming, he recently teamed up with RAM to support its "Year of the Farmer" initiative.

The idea behind the program is to bring awareness to the significance of the farming industry. RAM is joined by Corbin who is performing for various Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters across the U.S. There is also a sweepstakes that gives fans the opportunity to win a trip to the American Country Music Awards which take place in Las Vegas next spring.

Reid Bigland, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand, Chyrsler Group LLC, reflects on Corbin's involvement with the cause stating, "It’s clear that Easton, like the Ram Truck brand, cares passionately about ā€˜Year of the Farmer,’ the FFA organization and its mission. Through his tour of local FFA chapters, he’s personally connecting with this special group of kids to help us further the notion that there’s a 'farmer in all of us,' while reminding everyone that we all have a role in reducing hunger in America."1

If any of you in Santa Fe, NM would like to learn more about how you can enter the sweepstakes or if you're interested in checking in on the tour, more information and a video web series documenting the highlights can be found at www.ramtrucks.com/keepplowing.
